MARCH 2007 Sandra is working hard to build on her successes of last year.She has already had a print accepted for the Bookends section of Eastern Open. She is preparing for an exhibition called "WAKE" which will take place at the Old Cinema at Kettlestone coinciding with Norfolk Open Studios from 18th May until 6th June. She will also be sharing the space at Kettlestone with other WNAA artists for the Open Studios period.She has already started work on the exhibition based on Swanton Novers to take place in 2008.
The workshop is now finally built with only final details to be completed. A "dry run" workshop with critical friends will be run on April 14th to iron out any last minute problems. The workshop space is light and warm and is a very pleasant working environment for printmaking and other forms of art. Hot off the press! In view of the current interest in mixed media works, Sandra has decided to share some of her expertise in using different types of printmaking and combining them with drawing and painting. This should be a very exciting and creative workshop.AND there is a 10% discount for early bird bookers. You will be taught basic skills in dry point etching, collagraph and monoprint. Remember, if you have a partner who would like a relaxing or energetic time in Norfolk we will happily accommodate them as there is excellent birdwatching, walking and cycling in the area.
